January 22nd ,2012 - Pushing the walker
Doruntina is on the verge of walking. She started pushing the walker all of a sudden. Today she even walked while I held her hands; we cannot wait to see her walk on her own.
January 15th ,2012 - Practicing her walking
When Doruntina sees something new or exciting, such as most the things around her, she exclaims “WHAT’S THAT?”. She has learnt quite e lot of signing language. She can sign for socks, for books, when she has had enough of something and when she wants something more. Furthermore, she is very close to walking. Practicing her walking on a pushing chair is her favorite pass time.
December 24th ,2011 - One year old
Today Doruntina turned one year old. She is 31.0 inch (0.80 m) tall and weights 18.5 lbs (8.4 kg). She is standing on her feet for about ten seconds now and we predict she will be walking very soon. Today she is sick with a stuffy nose too, for the first time ever. In addition, two extra upper teeth are about to reveal themselves.

December 4nd ,2011 - Standing on her feet
For the first time Doruntina stood on her feet for about 2 seconds. She is almost one year. We are pretty sure she is able to pronounce the word "hot". When you mention the word "nose" she points at your nose. We discovered that if she sees us kissing each other on the cheeks, she tries to do the same thing. Last but not least, she likes listening music in ipod.

After many sleepless nights we finally decided to try again the crib. It has been two nights that Doruntina is sleeping all night in her crib. In the beginning she cries but it is getting better. On the other hand, we have had the best sleep.

Doruntina for the first time fell off her bed and landed on her forehead. Luckily she inherited her dad’s oak head and she is just fine. One cannot see even a sign on her head. We rushed her to the hospital at 10 pm just to make sure she is okay. Today as she was bracing herself against her crib, for the first time stood on her feet. Tonight we will attempt to put her to sleep at her crib.
